For anyone interested I think some of us are meeting at lowes in Pittsboro between 5 and 530 the morning of the tournament, then head up to the lake. The lake does not open till 630 so we will blast off once everyone is in the water and ready to go

What are doing up at 1:40am in the morning

One of us might want to call up there and see how the water is. One of my informants said the water was pretty low.
He says we should move the tournament to Holt lake because the fish are biting there and the lake is full.

Went to lake Michie today, man it was hot! Only caught 4 fish, water looked to be about normal. The water temp was 92 by the time we left at about 11:30.

I think we are going to try and leave lowes in Pitsborro about 5 o'clock Saturday morning, we are going to stop and eat at the bojangles on 501 before you turn to go to the lake if anyone wants to meet us there!

Jesse and me fished friday and caught 10. Water was normal but after todays rain it may be rising. Nice lake lots of fishy looking spots. We fished till about 11 when the sun came blazing out. Sammy, the guy checking us in said someone will usually open the gates between 6:00 an 6:15 to start checking people in. He also said he would let the person working sat morn know to leave the first gate open so we dont have to sit in the dangerous curve waiting. Also make sure you have your 8 dollars cash per boat for lake fee. See everyone sat should be fun! Daniel
