    **RULES-Please Read**

Post  Potter on Sun Feb 28, 2010 3:04 am

So here are the rules that we came up with, but before we set them in stone we want everyone's opinion. We will post them on the site once everyone has agreed. If you don't like a rule or want another rule added, just post a reply and we can all decide on if to add it or delete it. Thanks!

    NC Bass Hunters Rules

    1. If there's NO Fish Caught, All money will go to the top three places at the end of the year. If there's (1) fish caught then winner takes all.

    2. If there is a tie big fish will determine first place, if still tied next biggest fish

    3. There will be a Five Fish limit per boat but you can have a Sixth Fish if you have one that needs a courtesy measurement to make your Five Fish.

    4. All fish will be measured with a Golden Rule. If the ruler man says the fish does not measure then his word is final. DO NOT Argue with his call. There will be NO RE-MEASUREMENT!

    5. Courtesy measurement must be asked for before fish are weighed. "One Per Boat "

    6. One dead fish is allowed with a .50 pound penalty; however, there is a one pound deduction for EACH additional dead fish there after.

    7. Artificial bait only, NO LIVE BAIT.

    8. All live wells MUST BE checked before the tournament starts.

    9. Weigh in time will be announced at each blast off. One pound will be deducted for each minute you’re late up to ten minutes. After ten minutes you will be disqualified.

    10. Some lakes have barriers and NO boat is allowed behind them. Should a boat be caught behind the barriers that boat will be disqualified.

    11. Catch and release unless you’re going to have the fish mounted or the fish is dead.

    12. Use common courtesy, sportsmanlike conduct, and abide by all state and local laws.

    13. You MUST sign a waiver to join the club. Fish at your own risk, Have fun and be safe.

If any of the above rules are broken you will be disqualified without question.

I posted a link to a printable copy of the rules on the homepage and I also added the rules to the tournament info page. Lets go fishing! I'm really looking forward to our 2010 season!!

If you guys got any ideas for the site let me know. I was thinking since Rat is such a good writer, maybe we could get him to write an article about each tournament and we could post it on the homepage. It could be your claim to fame! Not Worthy Just an idea? Confused

Hey!!!! I could do it Very Happy

    I could start with:

It was a cold yet sunny day at Harris Lake. The NC Basshunters started their season with Potter firing the shotgun in the air to start the blast-off. When the shot went off he killed 73 seagulls that were circling about picking off the shad that were dead from the cold water. The rest of the 40,000 got the crap scaired out of them and deposited their waste all over the Basshunters that were assembled to take off. Doug just happened to be yawning at the time because he had not slept all night because of his date and he.............

You sure this is a good idea??????????
